Well my son helped me replace the switch and while we were at it we did the rear quarter window seals. We didn't need to bleed the brakes at all, so thanks for the tips, guys!

Resurrection: what bolt can I use to delete the pressure switch? I upgraded to a pedal switch and need the space back for an engine swap.
What did you end up doing on yours? I am looking to do the same
Just use the brake banjo bolt as used in later Minis.
Care to link to the right part?

Easy to put Banjo into the search box on MiniSpares.
this link will show the banjo bolt and the banjo fitting you have now. And the pressure switch.
