Hi all, 

 

Looking to put driving lamps on my 1987 Mini City E. What's the best way of doing this? I've looked and it seems like there are kits you can buy to do this - any suggestions as to which is good? Also how hard is it gonna be to wire them in? Cheers in advance

They need to be wired with a relay and the feed for the driving lights is taken off the Blue/white main beam feed, this can be done on the bullet connection behind the grill, relay is as below.

 

terminal 30 can be taken off the starter solenoid live

terminal 86 is where your Blue/white wire connnects

 

you dont have to use a switch as in the diagram, unless you want to switch them off

There you go plug and play if your a bit wary of wiring it and making a loom.

With the cost of parts i couldnt DIY it cheaper!( once time is factored in)
