I contacted Simon, and did a little write up in the comments box... if I get it I get it, but I am not partically fussed... 5% of £100 is only £5 so not exactlly, worth it!

Yeh I will do!Let me know how the ally hinges are, might get myself some of them if they seem solid enough.
Was chatting with Simon, in a couple of PM's he said they are really good, also chatting with a friend that works at Potters Bar, and he basically said the same... the general idea I got was they are the same, just made from alloy!
So I took the plunge, and paid the £80! they better be good!
The hardest part to this exturnal hinge merlarky, is getting all lined up.... got to drill my own doors

Did you get a mk1 a-pannel? or are you going to drill the holes in your lovely new pannel?
You are in for a busy weekend while we will all be stuffing our faces with food at the midlands christmas meal.
Maybe next year??

I have the inner a panels which have the holes in, and these outters I do have to drill 4 holes in each!
I think you'll need to do yours soon Si!
I am in for a busy weekend yes, but oh it'll be so worth it! In the next few weeks, BIG changes are going to happen!
I've managed to get some discount on my engine!
Ordered a TOAD alarm system, inc immobilser,
Got my wheels off for powercoat, in Matt Black
Brakes will be here in 2 weeks,
Front end is ordered, (Kevlar wings and front panel, with a CF exposed weave bonnet, all in MK1)
Two sheets of aluiminum on order for my new door skins,
Doors booked in for Mk1 converting,
Bought a big sheet of Perspex for my sliding windows,
Exharst is drying from hammeriting,
Red Oxide is on order, along with my white wall tyre paint.
So loads been going on!

Got quite a bit done before I did thou...
Done my sill completely, done my rear valance completely, done a few patchs.
Magaged to spray the one side in primer, got fed up of seeing it in 4 different colours!
Also managed to pick up my paint for the inside of the boot, inside, and bulkhead!
Got the one A panel lined up, well sort of, need to get the door to do the final lining up!
BUt anyways, heres a few piccys!

Still got perfect this up, its filler that I haven't sanded down yet, still needs a bit of building up!

Rear valance finished off... turned out real smooth after a bit of grinding.. still not perfect, but I'm getting there!

Got this beuaty to weld up tomorrow, same as the otherside too! I bought two door steps, and after a look, I could of got away with using one!! "doh!"

Just some random pics that a few people wanted me to get.... strange I know, but it look aggssive atm!
Maybe shes mad at me, for stripping her bare!

Roll on tomorrow!
Fresh roll of wire, meant to be good-ish!
So tomorrows to-do list;
A Panels,
Door steps
Turbo Box

I might go turbo, or poopercharger in the future, and don't fancy cutting it up when the paint is on!
