Aye its not long now before I can see the Mini in some paint! :dozing:

I mean once the inside is done, the doors can go on, once the engine is done, the front can be trimmed and put on... then off to paint it goes lol

Another month maybe 2 and she'll be ready for paint!

I mean the doors boot, and the inside can be done in a weekend - but atm I just cannot be arsed lol

Right I've had a good day, and a bad day!

Good day being...

I've taken my dash out again, and ripped the wiring loom out, waiting for my new one, also marked up where I want to cut my bulkhead...
So alls good there..

But I decided I was going to rebuild my calipers today... there scrap now!
Pistons had seized, seals cracked etc - in a bad state - even though I chap I bought them off said they had been used on his car, and only had been off about a month - more like 12months in all the weather! Also the one bleed nipple is shot, and the flage splines are stripped.... not bad for some "perfectly useable brakes, that don't HAVE to be rebuilt" eh? also found the casting to be chipped, and cracked on the one side :) Not a happy bunny!

anyways, after that mishap, I placed the calipers into one of my wheels just to see how much clearance I have...
I have room for a BIC pen! I don't think 4pots are going to fit :proud:

Yep my 25year old KN Murcarys...
