I'm planning on buying a Herbie shell, and correct FG spoiler. :shades:

Thanks, although I don't think I'll be doing another like it anytime soon. As after 15 or so years of painting rc bodies I've become a bit bored of 'one colour wonders' and I've done the metallics, flakes, flames, marble and paint splatter before. And rather randomly I'd spotted a paint splatter design on a swimsuit (I won't go into why) that I though would look a bit different and interesting on an rc body. So I thought I would use an old shock oil bottle as a pipette and drop/spatter the paint on that way, to try and replicate it or at least something simliar.

2 More of some fun in the Great Yarmouth sand dunes...

Oh and, one note. Sand in the clutch doesn't do the cutch bell or the shoes much good (and might explain the metallic grinding noise towards the end)

Finally got the MCD nearly complete. Sent it to Rossendale Models, and got it back today. :)

Have got a bit bored with rc cars at the mo. I'm bored with the electric cars and nitro trucks (probably classed as vintage/retro now even if I have had them from new) I already have and buying something newer is well out of my price bracket. So I've bought one of these to get my feet wet...

Its not that quick, but fast enough. The steering is somewhat interesting and takes a bit of getting used to. As its either left or right, but only with the throttle on. So next on the list is to make up a mount and fit a spare servo and rudder, then rip out the cheap combined Chinese esc/receiver and replace it with a proper esc and receiver. Oh and also rub down the plastic hull/body, fill over some rough areas I'm not happy with and give the whole thing a new paint job.

I like the idea of a R/C boat. :highfive:  I could get a hull made by another enthusiast, but need to get the mini and BMW sorted first. O_O  :shy:
