Did you look at the link I dug up for you? The HPI MT and the Firestorm series of cars used 12mm hexes and HPI indicate on their website which wheels fit those kits. That's everything you need to know with regards to wheel fitment.

14mm hexes were generally found on the bigger trucks like the T-Maxx and the early Savages. Although at least the Savages now use 17mm or bigger hexes as standard, I'm not sure about the T-Maxx (if they're even still making the 'classic' anymore).

Anthony, he's not refering to the Savage when he says HPI MT; they made a 4wd stadium truck which was named the HPI RS4 MT. It seems that the Megatech Tempest Gladiator is an MT clone. HPI seem to do this after a few years, just sell the designs to a third party and licence them to produce it. The same thing happened with the HPI Baja.

Sorry Adam, but I'll have to correct you, the gv (great vigour) predator 2000 (the year it was released) is in no way a hpi MT clone or shares any parts.

I was simply asking about the hpi wheels/hex sizes, as hpi seam to be the most popular/widely distributed at the moment and seam to be widely cratered for spares wise.

This is the buggy in question, do not be confused by the hpi dodge ram body.

and a set of wheels/tyres I'd seen on eBay...

Witch leads to the question, do the newer hpi buggies/stadium trucks now use 14mm hexes and not 12mm anymore?

Oh, so they made one before the Savage. I had no idea. I think my Team Associated MGT has 14mm, if I remember rightly.

Yep back in the day there used to be quite few 1/10th stadium and monster trucks, until the savage and t-maxx came out and everything started growing in size and price.

Does anyone know where I can get M01 parts?

I need =

bumper

battery clip

Rear chassis / gear casing Tamiya 50652

I have looked on RCMart and Asiatees but they don't seem to stock parts for these older Minis :(

Used is fine. I also need 1 wheel as one is broken and they are smaller than my M03 wheels.

A few pics of how my M01 came in the post with a manual speed control and a very slow motor.

It was filthy so I stripped it down, cleaned off the grime and fitted a ESC and a better motor.

I have two HPI Savage X Nitro 10th scale Monster Trucks, a Tamiya MAN 1/14th scale artic and trailer and an unbuilt Tamiya Scania R470 1/14th scale. Will post up some photos when I get home.

I was thinking of selling the unbuilt Scania and one of the Savages to fund some stuff for my Mini if anyone interested

Currently trying to sell the Traxxas MB, and considering selling the MCD Baja 1000. I've got too many R/C cars ATM, and spending far too much money on them. I've got my Team Associated MGT 4.60 SE, which I've had since I was 15/16 ish, so not selling that, my FG is currently in bits after the accident, then I've got the Traxxas and the baja 1000.

I would also like the extra money for mini bits and pieces. I was going to get the twin carbs rebuilt, and fit a Maniflow manifold for now, before going turbo. Well that's the plan anyhoo. :shy:  :shades:

I do like the Baja 1000, but It's taking up space and should be able to sell it fairly quickly. :tumble:

Decisions, decisions.
