almost there on getting ready for a good oil change and general tidy up

unfortunately I don't care much for my local parts supplier

so I'd like to get some filters elsewhere

I'm finding it really hard to track down one's that fit the 1.3i mpi injection

mine is a mayfair year 200

 

so far I believe the unipart GFE280 is one sure possibility (which just to make life simple also seems to be called a GFE405 - is this part of a conspiracy to make almost absolutely sure that we order the wrong part !!!!!!!!! )

if anyone has other readily available references to add to that I'm going to build up a little stock

to keep me going

You shouldn't have any difficulty. My local Halfords and independent auto factor both have MPi ones in stock most of the time. Don't have the Halfords number to hand, but it's in their book in the store. It's equivalent to MANN filter W713/28.
