This was on Ebay. Pretty poor condition, but my Astra will only fetch £500 on a good day, realistically.
You will need at least a grand for just a 'reasonable' one.
I sold my last one in 09 for £1300 and prices have shot up since
Yep. Due to the classic status they have. Not just an old Mercedes now.

Cheers. I have got loads of pictures but annoyingly, when i had that car, i had a rubbish camera phone so the quality is rubbish.
It's still on the road but i have no idea where. I haven't seen it since the day i sold it

Could be a nice project IMO. The first thing I would check for would be rust, and it will most likely need a new interior., but that's just an excuse to upgrade to leather.

My wife wants an R107 one day so in the same way I have a free pass regarding what are really her Minis over my cars/bikes I do have an angle in to get one of those without having a divorce, she wants a '78 in red but as they rust more than later ones I think she would be happy with an 80's one, I wish I had bought one a few years ago looking at the current prices!

I fancy a fairly big saloon, but always liked these. I could insure a 190e 2.6 for sod all, but they cost quite a bit. I would only be looking for a straight swap for the astra. Just spent £370 on another r/c toy, so I don't have much spare money ATM.
