Bloody fireworks for the second night in a row, it's not even November yet.
they'll be going on for next 3 or 4 weeks, our dog gets really frightened, it's not fair.

I just don't get the point in spending wasting £20 on some fireworks from the local corner shop, when for the same price I could just go and watch a proper display...

People who buy big powerful cars and drive them like snails... saw an elderly lady in a new Jag XF, I was stuck behind her for 20 miles and she never did more than 45mph tops, even on a long straight road with no one in front of her. That poor car

I know it's been just over 10 years since I passed my driving test, but were in the highway code does it say when overtaking you get along side the other vehicles rear wheel and then force your way in/the vehicle your overtaking up the kerb/grass verge at 50mph?
Overtaking isn't that hard, you eighth pull out and bloody overtake providing there isn't oncoming traffic, or you trundle along behind.

When you have an item on eBay for sale with buy it now or best offer and someone makes you an offer.
You decline said offer so they make another offer which you are happy with and accept making the sale final...
Whilst waiting for payment, the buyer sends a message saying he can no longer purchase the item..
WHY??!!

People on ebay who:

People on ebay who:
- Make false claims that items haven't turned up yet my courier has a signature to say it was received.
- Can't read adverts and then leave negative feedback because they made a mistake
- Make ridiculously low offers which I reject and then make the same offer or a lower one a day later
- Buy items and then never contact me so I have to go through the process of an unpaid item case to reclaim my money, meanwhile I've missed a free listing weekend when I could have listed the item.
- Say they will turn up at time XX on day YY and then contact me after they should have arrived to say they can't come then, can they collect it between 9 and 5:30 Monday to Friday despite telling them it will have to be collected weekends or evenings.
- Message me after I've declined an offer to tell me my item isn't worth that. No, what you mean is that you are not prepared to pay that. I'll sell it to the next guy.
- Ask if they can collect a part of me from where I work, after the item has ended not before hand like it is stated in my advert.
- Turn up in X vehicle to pick up X vehicle boot lid, bonnet, head lining, etc and the wonder why it won't fit in their car. They then leave it at mine and usually after a few days respond saying they can't collect it can they have their money back. Err... No. You should have thought about that before you bought it.
- Ask can I send the item abroad/ to a PO Box despite my adverts saying I only sell to mainland UK.
- Pay via paypal for items that are collection only despite my advert saying cash only so I have to refund them. This is due to a scam where people pay via paypal, collect an item and then claim they never got is so get their money back.
- Buy and item on ebay, turn up to collect it and then try and haggle me down again.
- Hand you a cheque after you have just loaded an engine into the back of a trailer. I have genuinely had this happen. I've since learnt to ask for the money first before loading heavy items.
How about when you sell an item like i just have and the buyer sends a message claiming that an internal component is badly damaged but yet there is no mention of any damage to casings?
I am talking about a laptop that i sold last week. It was thoroughly tested prior to dispatch and now he has received it and claims that the hard drive is 'smashed'
Sorry but how can this happen when there is no damage to the packaging, no damage to the laptops casing or the 25 layers of bubble wrap that it was wrapped in??
A chancer me thinks and this has happened before too. A few years back a woman i sold a laptop to moaned and bitched for a week about how it didn't work and that it was supposed to be a present for her kid.
She sent it back for inspection and low and behold, i unpack it, press the power button and away it goes.
This woman claimed that i had repaired it prior to telling her it turned up working until i proved that i photographed it working and sent the photographs to her and eBay within 5 minutes of signing for the parcel.

Ah Yes. How did I miss number 13.
13. Claim an item is damaged yet when you ask them to return it you never hear from them again.

Or worse when they find out that you are not going to just give them a refund and politely back down and let them keep the 'faulty' item so they deliberately break the item before returning it

14. Send you their old part that is broken back claiming its yours and is faulty. Ah. God Bless UV marker pens and black lights.

Just to make this fair.
Experiences as a buyer….
- Sellers who get shitty when they miss list an item, (wrong sizing etc.) or when a completely different item is sent.
- Arrange to turn up and pay/collect an item only then for the seller to try and haggle for a better price.
- Winning and paying for an item, only for your winning bid and money to refunded and the item relisted within the next hour or within the next 2 days with the same 99p start. Sometimes the same item will be sold and relisted several times until it finally sells at a price they are happy with or their mates have bumped it up by.
- Winning an item and paying asap only for the seller to then take a week or more just to post the item because they haven’t got the time, been away on holiday etc.
Completely agree with all of those points.
I have experienced number 4 more often than not

I'd agree with these although with number 4 I have had a lot of people get annoyed with me as I haven't dispatched the item the next day but they expected next day shipping as it was advertised with free postage. Had they bothered to read the advert they would have seen it say, dispatch in 3 days.
I don't see why people do number 3. Why not just list your item with a higher start bid or use buy it now. You get your advert up online for longer for the same price with a buy it now.
5. Sellers who have obviously got one of their mates to bid on it last second to drive the price up and then minutes after an auction has ended send you a second chance offer when you have been outbid. I never buy anything on second chance. I was offered one item three times on second chance as it kept getting re listed and I was the highest genuine bidder.

Whilst we are on the Ebay theme.
What really gets me is...sellers who want to make up their money by charging extortionate delivery charges. I have recently been looking at some dining chairs, majority of sellers what were selling the same ones were charging £20-30 delivery by courier which is fair enough, then one seller in particular stood out and wanted £100 by courier.
Another thing...I usually work on the principle of not buying off sellers who have a certain poor feedback rating or below or low feedback. If I do purchase off a seller with a few negative feedbacks, I always like to check what people have put. It amazes me that some buyers will buy off these sellers who have really bad feedback and then act shocked when they don't receive the item, it's damaged, fake or faulty etc.
Also Ebayers who get their mates to buy items to bump up their feedback rating then, the same item comes back on sale few days later along with one extra positive feedback. Then when genuine customers discover the seller is a tool and they leave negative feedback. He eventually shuts shop and then pops up again with the same username except he puts 123 on the end or changes it slightly.

With 4, in the past I've bought items from sellers and paid the extra for 48hr delivery because it's an item I need asap (just happened to be some mini parts) only for the seller to take a week to post. And its the same with an item I won last week (with high postage) that was paid for last week, but has only just been posted and wont arrive till the middle of next week as its only being sent 2nd class.
What really gets me is...sellers who want to make up their money by charging extortionate delivery charges.
That can sometimes be used to your advantage, as the item above I'm waiting on had a postage charge of £6 for second class on something that would easily fit through a letter box. But with the postage being high it seamed to have put off anyone else bidding, as I won an item (new/unused/still with shop tags) that would normally retail at $40 (around £26) and isn't available over hear for 99p.
