nice one Rhys can I bring the shine back up by hand or should I invest in a mop? Cheers TomOnce paints hard enough to flat back use 1500 wet n dry (wet and just work over the run until you bring it down to the rest of the paint level then use some compound to bring back the shine

Looks good, very satisfying painting it yourself. It's the part that really transforms the car.

I would suggest by hand as if you see what I did with my mk1 I did the whole car by hand flatting back then bringing the shine back with compound. If you use a mop you can easily burn through the layer when using the compound use a spray bottle or damp cloth that will help with the compound. (Before and after on my front end)
