Cheers mate might turn the thermostat housing 90 degrees then I'm able to get the 10 inch fan where that pipe is, just means I'll need a different pipe but might just get some flexi stuff.

You can put a blower fan on the front if there's room.

For my rad pipes I went to the local parts place and went through the OE pipes they had to find some that when chopped and joined would work...

No I haven't but I've heard you normally cut them to a point so there is a large surface to weld them back together.

Started cleaning up the engine and painting parts.

Painted rear subframe in black enamel, may flat and give a few more coats.

Still plodding on with this lost a lot of enthusiasm for the project but trying to get back on it to complete, trying to get the shell prepped to start bolting it all back together.
A few pics but nothing exciting.
Steering rack serviced and new boots and lock nuts fitted.

Subframe as it sits, been brush painting for convenience just in case I need to do more if I've missed anything.

My deadline is Christmas otherwise I might sell up and move on in the car scene away from mini's.

Refitted subframe and steering rack.


Engine and box went back in.

Had another go at the gear linkages, decided to use a rover k series selector and modified it all to work.
I have all gears but the throw is quite short so still abit more work to get perfect.
