Great work as ever from Ben. I need to get mine back there for a bit of TLC soon. What's the best way to get hold of Ben now?

I normally call him on the main Mill Road Garage number 01983 760436 , the cost of the ferry would have been dearer than me booking a 4 night stay at the local Warners with all food included

I've just noticed in the last photo you have the indicators on the left hand side on the steering column, is this something you've changed or was it like this when you got it?
Mine are on the opposite side, still makes me laugh when I go to indicate and the wipers come on lol
I have changed the indicator stalk due to the fact that when i indicated my headlamp flasher operated at the same time, I also changed the wiper stalk and put them the correct way round as pointed out by GT Jimmy

Oh no, I feel bad now. Every time you indicate now your wipers will come on haha
I have already done that a number of times
, I also now have cancelling indicators for the 1st time since I owned the car.
The car is all ready now for its 700 miles round trip to the Cornish Riviera run at the end of the month.

After a 8 week wait I finally got my new wheels and tyres delivered, I fitted them yesterday and am pleased with the way they look, last task is to try and sell the old wheels/tyres.

My Mini was involved in a crash today so I will need Ben to work his magic, I was turning right from a main road into a side road when the car pulled out in to the side of me, he said I didnt indicate (I did) and then claimed I had cut the corner ( I didn't). My wife was taken to hospital but thankfully she is OK just a little sore, the Ambulance crew at one stage were talking about taking the roof off, luckily it wasn't required. Here's a couple of Photos

Oh FFS! So sorry to hear this. Sorry to hear about your wife being hurt. I am sure it will be fixed soon. I had something less serious just before Beaulieu. Stayed in Norton Grange on the Isle of Wight, went to Shanklin beach. Deliberately parked in the angled drive in bays, instead of the parallel parked ones, so people were not reversing in and out all the time. 30 mins from getting there, someone says is this your mini? That lady has just hit it! Damaged the boot lid. It's such a shame. Best of luck.

Sorry to hear of your car getting damaged, and thank you for your kind wishes.
I just hope the insurance process is prompt and Ben can fit the work in so I'm not without the Mini for to long, I have been offered a courtesy car but I don't think they do classic Mini's.

That's shocking. Thankfully everyone's okay. I was involved in a very near 70mph undertaking miss last night. Seeing this has brought home how lucky I was. Minis are so vulnerable on todays roads. Was liability accepted in the end? Probably not, people are awful. Daz.

Sorry to hear this but glad you are both ok. Fingers crossed the insurance company will do the decent thing and the other driver can hardly claim they didn’t see a bright orange Mini.

I'm sure Ben will have it up and running in no time (insurance-related delays aside). Can't believe that it happened...I mean...the paint work is surely bright enough for them to realise you were there....saying that they were most likely on their phone/pissing around with the touch screen in their vehicle.
Look forward to seeing back to pristine once Ben has worked his magic!
