Ben have you just used clips to hold the seam covers in place or did you put tiger seal into the cover before putting on?

I have new door seals here, do you want me to send them?

The body is epoxy primed beneath them and then clips are used as well as adhesive sealer then the tops and bottoms are sealed to the body as per factory.

More primer was added to the seam strips externally and any other bare bits showing through just after I uploaded those photos.

 

Please send new door seals and also if you have it  the chrome edging strip for the arches and sills and I'll fit that for you too

 

Ben great minds think alike, I was just wondering if I should ask about the Chrome edging.   I was given 2 rolls of edging, need to have a look at how much is there. if not I will order for delivery straight to you.

Beyond excitement.   Looks so good, better than I have been imagining the last few years, exactly 4 to be precise.....

Have you added a seam cover to the lower seam between wheel arch and rear panel?  

I know I had let you with an unsightly task to tidy up there, looks good and neat.

Its at this point that I've realised that I basically own an new car.   Original car panels are limited to Front and Rear (seat back) Bulkhead, Parcel Shelf (small parcels only), B-Post , Front window surround, top of A-Post, top of C-Post and Roof Gutter.  
For all of those who have just read through 4 years of this build, wondered if the project you have in the garage is worth it.
