It came with the car. Was mounted to a bracket on what was left of inner wing with flip front. I saw a pic of a round nose this morning without a grille. I could see a hole that looked like that on. What have you got on yours?

It's a smaller version of the drivers side. They pop up on ebay sometimes

Just thinking where does the day go when in the garage.

Lots of time thinking about the job, thinking about next job, looking at job, looking for bolts / nuts

So I wrote a list to see if that helped focus, it really does

Fit clock bracket, cut foam, slip bracket onto dash, snapped a stud.  Will need to remove and replace grrr or will I get away with 3 studs?

Whilst looking for a clip for dash bracket I came across this.  So spent time cleaning off  over spray and polishing, this is where time goes

Then installed, had to drill new holes as I had filled with weld.

Rear light fitted, not too happy with the rubber fit, will need a bit of stretching and manipulation to get a good consistent fit around the light.

Lights also come with bolts, not the right size so the head rotates in the fitting.

Pushed the subframe into position, couldn't bolt it up into position, waiting on  paint to dry on washers

Then onto the Glass, it looks pretty shabby, dirty and covered in over spray

Step 1 wash, it wont fit in the dishwasher

Step 2  Scraper -  Overspray came off nicely, I  did notice lots of grinder sparks on the glass (they were covered, or I thought they were !!)

The glass came up ok, it have scratches from years of the seal rubbing but I think they will be ok.   I like the original green tint

This is the worst one

Good weekend in the garage.

They look nice

Now these bits

clean, bit of Krust, but i'm not painting these, the plating is pretty good in most places.
Will paint inside the channel that holds the glass as thats where the most rust is.

Yes I ordered new lights and rubbers.  The lights come with rubbers so I now have 2 sets.    The originals are gone, showing 40 years of life.

What a great company to deal with.   Can't purchase direct on website as they need to agree on delivery charge.

They have a contact page, responded immediately, came back with a cost to post

I agreed through an email with prepared invoice.

In the post same day for 8 Euro  delivery fee.   If only all Mini suppliers were this efficient.   I will let you know if it appears.

that sound insulation on the bulkhead where did you get it from?
Glad that link wasn’t a wild goose chase it’s amazing that you can still get these sort of parts that have been obsolete for years.
