Can you not slot the latch rather than drill the post
Care to elaborate? Not sure what you mean bud?

couple of things progressing on the mini project
new bumper arrived to check fitment on rear and front
i have also made a start painting the wheel arches
sanded with 240grit
primed
top coated ready for flat back and lacquer
had a little paint left in pot so i thought id use it up
also took the plunge and stone chipped the engine bay. Very high pressure to get a less textured finish came out really well and im happy with it, just going to put 2 coats of top coat and lacquer on it aswell

What did you think of the Mini Spares bumper? Was the ends rolled round like the genuine MPI ones?

Not going to lie I took a gamble with them because I have heard mixed reviews, but the one I received was spot on. Good quality bumper the ends were perfect I would recommend going of the one I received
- just hope when I need to order my other one it’s the same
Hope that helps bud

I would check the recoat window regarding the arches as they look metallic.Steve..
Novice on all this spraying to be honest bud - can the lacquer not go on whenever I decide to flat back?
Paint is metallic...

Jesus thats some shinny looking build up! Going to look cleaner than the day it left the factory.
How did the house move all go?
Doesn’t take much with a mini haha
Unfortunately didn’t move before the lock down, so we are stuck where we are at the moment until the lock down gets lifted on certain things. Fingers crossed not to long...
