Back of a fag packet geometry .... slightly taller ball joints will raise the roll centre, is anyone aware whether this is detrimental in a Mini?

It would change the King Pin Inclination angle of the Hub. Detrimental ? Up to what the end user is seeking.

However, if you are thinking that these Maintenance Free Joints have a different Ball Roll Center, they are the same as those of a stock Mini Joint.

You beat me to it!

I was just about to ask for your input on this.

I'd be up for a UK delivered set.

Thanks guys, I'd assumed the ball roll position would be further out.

Expressing interest here, having recently done the fronts using shims it is not something I want to have to do again in a hurry.

Just one thing extra to consider is adding on import taxes/duty to the cost.

Import duty starts at £136 from Japan, IIRC.

Earlier, someone said they got a set delivered for £200 so surely that duty figure can’t be correct. At that price, plus the cost of the items, presumably no one would buy

You don't pay import duty if the costs of goods is under £135.

I'd be interested in set too

King pin inclination angle? Ball roll center? A couple of terms unfamiliar to me. Taller ball joints effect on handling? Requirement for front alignment after installation? These are a few questions that I have. Any help out there?
