thank you Revd as exactly what I was looking for another visual of what to expect for ride height. With my new hi Low's I should easily obtain the ride height and comfort. Did you install yourself?

Had some time to spare during lockdown so it was diy. Not particularly difficult, just a case of being methodical. Worth overhauling brakes etc at the same time if they need doing - I went for Cooper s discs, AP callipers and 10” rose petals
I just had the brakes done - back - as front has new 7.5 inch Cooper "S" - so am good on that end and agree 100%..

Good stuff, Post some results after you fit the red dots. I've had to raise my hilos with the standard cones a fair bit to keep it off the bump stops.
I fitted them myself too - rears were fine - just the nylon cups needed a propane torch to melt/soften them up
Front - one side went in fine, bar being fiddly to get the upper arm out. The other not so much - the upper arm bolt was not budging for me, and the cone compressor wouldn't screw in due to 'gnarly threads'. Did 3 corners myself and took the last to a local mini specialist to deal with.
Kept the cost/swearing balance reasonable

I have recently fitted a set of Minispares Evolution cones FAM3968EVO to my Contessa,
done about 450Mls on them since fitting 26/08/20 running with KYB Gas Adjust dampers,
and standard trumpets.
Got them courtesy of Rich at Minispares North! met the guy that makes them today at
Minispares.
I couldn't get this to load earlier!!! recon the ride height is about right now.

When you look at pics of Minis as they came off the assembly line, they were NOT slammed to the ground! Rather, they were all sitting pretty tall.....I know everyone wants that flat on the ground look these days, but I think they ride terribly when you do that. I'm happy to have some wheel gap so I don't get beat to death driving mine!

Yeh I personally don't see any attraction in lowering my cooper. It's not as if there is too much body roll or the COG is too high! Most people on the street love it when I drive past- I doubt many of them think 'oh that looks nice, but would look better if it was lowered'!
Good thread- I need to get new suspension all around soon,
