Now that’s a job I would jump out of bed every morning to go to!!
I’d even move house lol
If only I could find someone with your enthusiasm.

Employees maybe more trouble than they are worth, you can be confident in the quality of your own work.
The last bloke I had was lazy and unreliable. Had no interest in doing a nice job and just went though the motions without any care.
He was capable so I left him to do the welding, body repairs and prep on a supra asking him to get the car to a point where it was ready to paint.
In the end, I had to redo a lot of the prep before I could paint it as he just stopped turning up but it came out fine in the end
He has been sacked now

Sorry for not posting in a while. I cant wait to have her back with me and start the assembly. All the mechanical parts are now ready to bolt back in place, so i'm hoping for relatively quick progress. Once i have worked out Imgur, i will make sure i post some updates on here.
Thanks Ben for all your hard work and the updates. As always, your attention to detail is incredible!

Bit more done.
I'm going to paint the bonnet stripes on jnstead of using stickers. This way, it will match the roof colour too.
First step is to flat the green paint back with 1200
And then measure up and mask up the stripes with fineline tape
Then paint the old English white
And then once dry, unmask and flat back the old English white ready for me to clearcut the whole lot
Way better than those horrible stickers.
I prepped the bootlid, and doors too
They are now in primer
And now I'm starting to put it back together.
I have run new fuel and brake lines front to back and started to fit the rear frame
Cheers

Popped by and saw Ben yesterday. He was kind enough to show me where the magic happens. My car is going back to Mill Road later this year for a bit of pampering. Great work Ben as always.

Pardon my ignorance but what is Flow Coating?

Pardon my ignorance but what is Flow Coating?
That is where you paint your panel in 2 stage (base and clear) and then flat the clearcoat back and then apply a further 2 coats.
The reason for this is that it improves the depth but in this case, I was doing it to seal in the 2 colours under a complete coat of clear.
Cheers
