After finishing the paintwork on the bonnet, I started the process of flatting and polishing it

Obviously, I have only polished one side there.

Once complete, I fitted it and popped it outside to see the colour in daylight

Meanwhile, I prepped the primer on the doors and bootlid.

Here is one of the doors mid prep

Once complete and sealed up, into the booth they went for topcoat

Whilst that was drying, I continued with the polishing

I'm doing the polishing jn stages between other stuff as my back isn't playing ball lately so o can't manage to do too much polishing in one go.

Cheers

Excellent finish Ben, the owner must be well pleased especially with the painted bonnet stripes.

Sorry to hear your back is poorly.

Cheers John.

I really do like the painted stripes. I doubt a sticker would be available to match the roof otherwise. And no air bubbles of course!

Been having a lot of trouble with my back lately. It's worse in the heat which makes it interesting in the spraybooth!

Oh well I'm sure it will fine.

Cheers

So much goes into the perfect finish that I never appreciated before. It’s looking amazing, I can wait to see it in the metal next Friday.

Sorry you’re back isn’t great Ben. I hope it eases soon. I can’t imagine it makes any of your work easy!

I'm glad you like it.

I get on OK with the back pain, it's just the polishing and some aspects of painting that causes issues. It soon goes away though with rest.

Cheers

Ben

Just the arches to paint and fit now and polish the roof and it's done.

Let's hope the back isn't giving too much jip after all of that polishing Ben. Fantastic work as always!

The finish on that paintwork is stunning.

You must be really chuffed with it.

I think it's great how you get that 3-D effect of a bloke taking pictures in all your panels.  That must be quite an achievement!

Seriously though, hope your back gets better.

Craftsmanship right there. Awesome finish on those panels fella.

Been there with back pain, hope it eases up soon. Keep up the cracking work, I bet the owner is chuffed with the updates?
