Full disclosure, I’m an electronics noob. Of all the things we do on minis, electrics is my least favorite (and Lucas doesn’t make it any easier).

I’m trying to find a 12V ignition sourced wire so that the my wideband ARF gauge will come on when the ignition is engaged. What should I be looking for? What color wire? I have poured over the Haynes manual and have just printed the exploded view from Mike L…

I have a 1993, 1275 Mayfair RHD with the single cluster.

Any help would be appreciated.

Green (solid, no tracer colours). You might find there is a spare connection on the fuse box.

I use the white wire at terminal #1 of the fusebox, that way it'll switch on and off with the ignition
