The problem I've run it to though is the offerings available today aren't the quality of the originals, some need changing at the same time as an oil change O_O

The CMJ Heavy Duty OEM ball joints look interesting.

Yes, one in our group has been running them for a while now and they have shown themselves very good. I did a review on them a while back;-

These are what I'll be moving to.

I've seen that 2 types of the ball joints have been mentioned here. One type is from CMJ and the other is from John Guess. What about these that Minisport makes? Are these any good?

Anyone have an issue? I bought mine about a month or so ago, haven’t driven more than 45 mins and there’s play on both left and right? Grease is getting into them but the play is too much it’s not right at all.

Ideas?

What ones do you have?

My Delta ones I got direct from Delta, have been in over a year now and just passed our 6 monthly inspection a month ago without any problems, havent had any issues with them.

I got mine from minispares. I’m pretty pissed as a full set are crazy expensive.

yeah they are.

These I assume: https://www.minispar...-GSJ166KIT.aspx

I would be contacting Minispares, or even make contact with Delta themselves and see what they have to say.

The "minispares" ones should have a small disc to stop grease entering.

The minispares ones are not the delta ones.

This is the supplier of the minispares ones unless there's a third type. https://www.facebook...w8tNKvZe7ujfAC/

hmm, well the single units specifically stated they are Delta from Japan
https://www.minispar...t/C-GSJ166.aspx

So I would assume the 4 pack is the same

https://www.minispar...-GSJ166KIT.aspx

Especially given they are the same part number, just with KIT after it...

They do appear to me to be the Delta ones. As I mentioned previously in this thread, they don't have nearly enough swivel angle.

I just emailed them to see what they think or if they will replace them. The instructions were pretty straight forward for fitting with no shimming.

Sorry, I've got mixed up with the guessworks ones. The minispares ones are the delta ones and the guessworks ones are the DHR ones.

Well I got a reply from minispares and apparently my car is too low which has caused them to fail. I thought 45 mins of driving was a little quick for that.
