I bought this cam some time ago, it was sold to me as a racing cam. Do you think it is ? Can you identify it from this stamp mark?

I think the cam experts will require some photos to try and solve your problem psychic they ain’t, and welcome to the forum.

Looks like aea649 which is the oid leyland race cam

Agree looks like a 649 CAM, good in its day but better out there now, and be careful of what oil pump drive is on the backend of it, I think the originals were a pin drive, not slot or spyder drive
