As I already said, you won’t have any issues with an oil filter, I have a 1966 and I had a 1990 until recently, and I can confirm the oil filter is exactly the same. Your car is definitely not post 1996 when it changed to a slightly different design.

Worth a try when I go and order an oil filter its nice to know that it will fit 1990 or 1991
