Hello, it's been awhile since I've posted here, but my restoration of my mini is going well. I am trying to find the correct replacement wire harness for my car specifically, and I'm hoping that I can get some help.

Car details:

- 1991 Japan market Mini

- RHD

- Carb

- A/C

I'm looking at the main sites that offer complete harnesses, like these:

Does anyone know if there's a place online to get a replacement loom for my specific car? The only ones I see that reference japan market cars are post 97 spi models.

If there's no place to outright buy a loom, then I guess the next best thing is to re-create my current one?

Given what your car is I would suggest calling these guys to discuss it, it's all detailed bits and bobs. I'd suggest making a list of every switch, dial, relay, fitting, lamp and their location that you can check off with them.

On a side note: if you are buying from minimania, I’d suggest ringing them and checking what their stock levels and shipping times are like prior to ordering.

As above, Autosparks are the people to speak to as they manufacture the harnesses supplied by others. They'll add additional switches etc. if they don't have a standard looom for your car. They'll also make your harness to suit if you want to move stuff e.g. fusebox during your build..
