No exciting piccies to show but I've been getting everthing ready for the cars return (fingers crossed friday).
Tim Water temp and pipe adapter should turn up tomorrow from tweeks an Acewell digi dash should turn up thursday from quadtech.co.uk. Also had to sort out a 100ohm fuel sender (off a busa) that will fit into the zcars tank.
Got fuel and brake lines cut to size.
Ordered some heavy duty rubber air ducting from my local motor factors. I'm gonna cut a hole in the middle of the ducting hose and fibreglass a little electric heater to the hole, then feed the two ends of the hose to the normal mini windscreen vents. I got the heater from nfauto.co.uk.
Just trying to pre-empt any preparation work and delivery times that would eat into the couple of days I'll have to finish the car. Wish me luck please folks, and send me your any spare cans red bull.

I have been sent a pic or two. They wanted to make sure that my bulkhead fitted, a: because it is in a minus and b: because it is a little different.
Also it is on all fours now. They are not aligned yet, I hope it gets done tomorrow because then I can get it back, thursday/friday.

Finished my de-mister, slightly differently to how I planned it, but better I reckon.
I fibreglassed a pipe on and now the standard hoses fit onto it.
If I get it back Friday and I get the weekend off work / pull a sicky then I have a chance to get it done. The prep work for my loom is now finished so when I get the car back I can fit my rectifier, new throttle position sensor and fuel pump, battery and then simply start plugging everything in. I will have loads of extra long wires tho as I don't know the final position of everthing yet. Kind of doing this backwards really aren't I? But just trying to get a headstart.

Predictibly, everything has gone pear shaped. The Car Transporter was supposed to picke the car up at 10:00 am today. I phoned them at 10:30 and they said they were not going to do it. Great! Therefore I have not got a hope in hells chance of getting the mini delivered in time. I'll be going to the ring in my bloody metro!

Every one wants between £380 and £500 and that would be on bank holiday monday. meaning I would not have it till 2pm Monday. MOT is 8.30 Tuesday. so not much point really. the cheapest quote was £235 and but not till September 7th so that'll do.
