wow that engine looks great

exactly identical to mine bar camshaft and displacement

hope it runs well soon, dyno testing will be v interesting!

hope it runs well soon, dyno testing will be v interesting!

Taking it to some roller's in hastings (south east) when it's run in because the guy who owns the place runs miglias so knows what he is doing with mini's

Am very happy with SW10 by the way. Loads of oomph and a real nice smooth delivery of power.

miniman... no we dont use the same computer, though i often pop round to madmax's and use his computer when waiting to go fofr a drive:)

Not really. I will use it alot in the summer and put it to bed in the winter. But noise is the real issue.
Don't worry clive. I'm sure it will make it up to you.

Some more good progress. I'm making the car a bit more road friendly as it is my daily driver.
I have re-positioned the choke cable to my centre console..

as it was, belive it or not, on the front bulkhead above the pedals. I used to have to put the choke back in with my foot!

The white dot in the photo is where I filled the old hole for the choke cable with silicone.

and I've also put a nice chunky aluminium sump guard on to protect my lovely engine.

How easy is it to fit a sump guard and is it worth it?
