Are you doing a flip front or standard bonnet?

Yes we are going for a flip front, with a panels to. Just means taking the engine out will be a hell of a lot easier!

Had a problem with the welder, the trigger has been sticking and then today without the trigger sticking it was constantly on!! (wire squirting out)
so we took the side off and the relay had stuck, so a quick flick and it released and has been ok since.
Heres the frame bolted back on the car,
with the mounts in, and with the suspension back on,
so now its sitting on all 4 wheels again.
We still have some welding to do on the engine mounts,
but once thats done we can stick the engine in and start on the other bits.

Well we started welding the mounts up and we were ok for a bit then the welder started to go funny so we let it cool,
when we came back it was ok again and we got the mounts welded.
Once they were cool enough we started bolting them on to the engine only to find the new bolts we got were about 5mm too long so we had to chop them all down.
Once we had them bolted on we lifted the engine into the frame and proceeded to giggle it about (for quite some time) until finally it all fell into place after removing and re-attching the mounts in a certain order
We were then able to test the head, exhaust and inlet.
Now we can get on with the gear change, and exhaust.

How are you going to jig the brakes? Are you going non-servo like ed?
There is alot of space there isnt there? Perhaps enough room for an intercooler for some forced induction in the future???
