Yea I saw the sprite! Much more shiney than yours :)

Didn't recognise it from here though, or I would have mentioned it!

What colour is it being sprayed?

Looking at your pics again, your front arches are very low indeed, mine end dead in line with the centre of the indicators!

cheers :)

i bought and fitted heavy duty tie bars and adjutable bottom arms, so the camber is better now..

replaced the grill with a less battered one! and moved the number plate over slightly i think it looks a bit better but its going on the bonnet after its sprayed..

ive got loads of projects on the go at the minute and the dead line to have it sprayed is a local show called Minis4Kids on the 11th oct

If that were mine I would be tempted to respray it in the original Rose metallic and bang the vinyl roof back on. Nice :)

Why past that point, the rose colours great and quite a rarity and the side stripes look the dogs. Plus would look wicked with fat arches.

Maybe I have a soft spot for 1100 Specials

 >_<  :w00t:

got really fed up with way my car looked and sooo annoyed at not having any money for a pro spray or ever likely having the money to get it sprayed soon. so i decided to do it my self :)

i didnt have access to a big enough portable compressor so i decided to use the new pro paint shop aerosols! yes rattle cans! with a special fan shaped nozzle (which was ace! really usable and precise) unfortunatley you can only get the cans mixed up in celulose so the final finish is a bit flatter than i hoped but it kinda looks like a custom job! *thumbs*

masked up and beginings of prep :)

good progress with the car, and i like the colour only thing i would say is give it a good cut back and a polish and i reckon that will give a blinding finish
