hi guys

sorry not been on here for a while!

well after a lot of hassle with numours mot stations (flip fronts are not worth the hassle) i got the mini through an mot..

so its been on the road for about four weeks, now,, loving it!!







it made it to beaulieu on one of the hotest days, so it nearly overheated. but changed the rad since and its seems fine. beaulieu was great lots of interest in the mini and many comments on the monster truck front end! lol (its lowered now )

the spacers have been causing mass rubbing on the a panel and flip front, so ive been cutting, lowering, cutting, lowering and cutting some more!!

the 1098 is brilliant!! goes like a rocket and really torquey!!! i love it,

bought some heavy duty tie bars and poly bushes from gaydon, so it corners a little better but still need to get the tracking sorted, the tram lining is interesting!!

the day after i got it mot'd my daily passat blew the alternator so i was driving the mini daily for a three weeks, so went a tad def!! think i might chicken out and put the headlining back in as im getting old! lmao

well i was hoping to get the car sprayed aswell for SMD, but due to lot of bills for the euro box i havent been able to afford the paint so hoping it will be sparyed in time for Minis4kids at Gunwharf Keys in October..

got to get a speedo cable and some new tyres soon but thats about it for now i think..

anyway i shall be at SMD, mini 50 and MITP, so if you see my car come and say hello, i dont bite .... lol

I love this mini, i dont think you should spray it and leave it as it is! Ill be at mini 50 hopefully so ill come say hi.

lol, i might wizz over the doors with some special red, because i think it looks abit gash in mutiple colours ..

i need to spray it, ive got a box fully off stickers to go on

My dad really rates the 1100's. He loved it in his cooper back in the 70's. He said it wasn't as quick as his race engine but it was still pretty quick.

and miglias have the arches placed a little higher than that and slammed

yeh but i want it wide!! so have to stick with thriteens, as i 1inch spacers with deep dish wheels which just about fills the arches nicely..

but i do love tens! if only yoko made 7's then id get tens

Hey dude!, I just passed you at the mini roundabout just down from sainsburys!

I was driving home (just moved here recently) and saw your car, and thought it HAD to be this one (how many others minis are there in this colour with a full compliment of unpainted composite panels?)

Car looked awesome man, although perhaps a little high at the front compared to the back

I'll have my mini up here in a few weeks, so it'd be awesome to meet up, I'm also now on the BMC forum too

hiya, yeah i was miles away and just noticed you flashing as i went by lol

just got new tyres on the front so its a little higher that normal and i need to move the front mig's up as they are too low so they rub if the front is too low lol maybe get your expertise on them one day

hopefully getting it sprayed in september but depends on funds..

yeah get on down to a bmc meet next one isnt till 1st sept i think.. or if your going to santa pod then might cya there...

oh did you see my girlfriends sprite behind?? shes upset her car didnt get a mention... lol
