thats what we call snoooooow. if you want some come and take it. the crease in the roof is from sometime in his life somebody lifted him by passing a rope through the windows and craning him up :'(. I don't know how repairable it is.

the roof shouldn't be that bad to repair warren... but if it comes down to it i have a spare roof cut at the pillars that you could use..... but thinking about it now so does ken in the back... anyways keep at it and good job.

Talked to Ken on Saturday and he said that whoever fixes it would need soem sort of "frame machine" to tie the car down the dolly is out, so he said to get everything else possible fixed at the school, to make it solid, and then take it to a shop (you may see it) and get that done. also next saturday I will be working on stripping down the motor i may be buying to see what it's like, going to take lots of pictures.

Alright tomorrow I'm going in to start taking apart my, hopefully, engine! pics to come! also i'm gunna look at the Mk1 tailights he's got there to see if i can find a good used pair, and if i do i'm converting, and since i don't have a grille anyway i'll do the mk1 grille too. gunna get overiders but not corner bars.

Here's some pics of the engine i'm going to buy. It has a 997 (!) Cooper head. It also has some valve work to make it have bigger valves. It only has minimal miles on it, standard pistons, and twin carbs. the block is a standard 998. here's some pics.

thinking of doing a Mk1 grille, what needs doing to get this done? I don't have a grille so thought i might as well do it to match the taillights...found a good right one and a decent left one....might need new lenses not very expensive.

no modification really necessary to do a mk1 grille just get rid of the metal lip on the front of the bonnet.....mk1 grilles are expensive though!
