I have a 1994 Classic 35 1.3i with only minimal upgrades. It’s mostly stock. I put heavy duty tie-rods on, KN filter and that’s about it. I have replaced the ball joints, constant velocity joints, replaced the selector shaft o ring, installed a new stepper motor, replaced valve stem seals, boiled out radiator and author stuff. I’m about to put a new battery in, the old one was a 2009. I’ve always kept a battery tender on it in the garage.

Hey,

I've got a 1989 mini 30,

She was purchased a few years ago as my first car, however she has unfortunately been off the road for the last year with a few minor problems,

Hoping to be driving the mini on the road again this summer.

Hi,

i own a 1979 clubman 1275 GT, which I started to restore about 10 years ago, but have been sidetracked for a fair while with other life issues. Most of the underside has been sorted but engine in need of rebore due too stuck pistons and damaged bore. I’m told I need to replace the pistons with +20 ones. Trouble is funds are tight. Also the standard ones are fine, just no use once the rebore is done.

just wondering if there’s a possibility of a swap plus cash, with a member on here.

Hi, I have a 1973 mini 1000 , bought it 2 years ago non runner, complete but been stood outside for some years, many people would say its a basket case but i like a challenge!. I am in Nottingham. The car is about 75% finished, the only change is a 1275 engine, 10" disc brakes . Its had probably 75% of the body panels renewed.

1984 registered mini with 1994 rust free shell. 1407 cc engine with Nitrous oxide injection.

I'm confused - surely if you have a 1994 shell then you have a 1994 registered Mini.  Unless you're saying you have a ringer - surely you wouldn't be admitting that on a public forum ;D

My Very First MINI! She is a 1994 Rover Mini Sprint. She is White with a black wing as she has a fair bit of rust on her. I would love to get her full able to be my daily driver. I have a fair amount of work. She currently runs however just TODAY she dropped her exhaust on a run around the bay after an oil and spark plug change. She is a fun little thing and I can't wait to jump in. My wallet however might say otherwise.   :gimme:  :D

Hello,

I'm new to the forum, so here goes....

I have a 1980 Clubman, that is currently undergoing a bare metal rebuild. It was build as a rally car by a friend around 30 years ago, before being damaged in an RTA while he was driving to work. I bought all the bits, and planned to restore it, but the project stalled and the car was put into storage until Jan this year.

I had planned to compete on the Mull Rally in October this year, but I think that it will be 2021 now.

The shell has a Safety Devices 19 point bolt-in cage, flip and removeable steel front with opening bonnet.

I will be running the VeTech wide track and brake conversion on the front, with VeTech rear hubs and backplates, KAD rear arms with custom stub axels and brake backplate spacers to wide track the rear.

The engine is a 1330cc A+ block with MED crank, large centre main strap and flywheel. The head, pistons and cam kit are from Keith Calver. It will be running the Specialist Components 5-port injection kit, and the MED front mounted cooling setup with electric water bump and dry deck setup.

Think that's it in a nutshell.

Andy
