im thinking 1300 with a t2 turbo custom side mounted though so its differant and doesent involve cutting the bulkhead with bike carbs or something and and a stright cut close ratio box

i will answer it anyway lol,all the plans are typical me COMPLETELY ridiculas and have either already done or will be done soon and if they havent been posted so far its because they are secret lol, and as for hows it going... well ive done absolutely nothing lately and for my birthday its going to get jigged and welded im just tacking everything in square and its getting shotblasted and caged up soon as well more about that when the time comes though and ive got some cash lol

update:

well you could call it that, i kinda had some ideas with reguards to front subby... so i got cutting... well all i can say is its alot lighter :thumbsup:. i will post pics when ive tidied up my wonderful work... ive not done anything to stupit just points i found in andywallers thread and some others... :sneaky:
but still need advice on strengthening please

sorry for the lack of update ive been in the ozy and ive been ringing up for shotblasting and seam welding... but other than that im at abit of a low with the project so any encouragement and comments wioll be greatly appreciated :wub:

yey abit of non mini update. ive been off scholl this week with it being half term so still nursing a broken finger ive swopped the roof on my 16' by 70' shed and bloody hell what a job taht was i can get electric in there and i can start with the proper work...

not done much lately just tidied up the shelll ordered a shot blast kit as the prices i was getting quoted for all the bits for the mini were stupid! also ordered a new mig as my last one packed in and ive recieved most if not all the body panels i will need for the rebuild so i can go get the angle iron and box now for strengthening then the cut out and replacing can begin. ive also had a fiddle with that ideas mini thing and added a few bits so its now near enough what i want!

thats about it really, ive finally got a engine spec im happy with now this is as follows:

1400 11:1 compretion
SC CR box with a x-pin diff 3.44:1
ultra light flywheel with ultralight back plate rotating asembly also balanced
wedged x-drilled nitrided crank
grey diphram
running megasquirt
lightenend and balanced A+ rods
K1100 rs 16v head with 256 cams
some form of throttle body probably just the std bwm 34mm ones

erm thats about that really theres someone on another forum running near enough this setup so its should work, but as alwasy advice greatly appreciated.

abit of an update,
finally decided upon t2 power (atlast) and searching through the topics on here and on turbominis ive come across a side mounted turbo setup, so this is what i have planned.

sorry for all the pictures that arent of my car but this kinda clears up what im doing and as they say pictures speak louder than words :)
p.s. sorry if these are pictures of your cars/engines, hope you dont mind me using them. :P

im abit unsure on exhaust positioning though, i wanted it to be exiting at the bottom of the a pillar on the drivers side im having a miglia style bulkhead so the getting of it down there isnet a problem i was just wondering if there is any implications of having such a short exhaust system? and if there was anyway to solve the problems?

cheers guys, the pot has run dry lately s ive been chroming polishing and buying thinsg for ma new daily. so this is on the back burner unfortunatly. sorry :closed:
