saturday i did nothign due to my hand
sunday did some cutting out of holes the jacking point on the sill sorka kinda came off! i dont like using them any how so just gona weld over the hole in the sill, welded in a patch on the sill then roun out of gas doh!
Monday, got more gas welded up the rest of the sill! not bad going for sumone who almost ground to the bone (i guess a td over exagurate) anyway when i hammerited it over still need to weld the sill on
today got some fuel out of herb and put it into clubby and runs again damn i though the fuel gauge was inacurate! needs setting up yes but oh well

the all the grinding starts and then dress the welds with seam sealer, hammerite then underseal
interior to go in them and should be about done.....i hope...
anyway just a few things playing on my mind, in the future its gona need a respray, now the colour is super rare now iv only ever seen 1 the same on here, but im also not to keen on it so wondering if i should stop being a girl and put up with it or choose a nice blue or somthing? any ideas hints welcome

got home from work today rung up southam mini and metro centre, the earliest apointment for RR they had was for the 30th at 3pm, i then rung local MOT place and booked in for the 1st
so its kinda cutting it fine, i need to car done by friday because thats when i go away for the riviera run eep! so im gona let the garage to the fix's (depending anyway)
after that was booked i went to knick the rear seats out my white mini which im going to recover to match
then ground down the welds on the drivers floor and put seam seeler on...looking much neater

Well you should stop being a girl for a start... people might start to wonder

I don't know bout the colour I'd rather see it in real life. But I'm tempted to say put up with it.... likely to change my mind though! LOL!

fitted the interior yesterday, minus carpets and front doorcars anyway, leaving the carpets out till i have ground the underside im not risking fire
also fitted the wheels off herb, my white mini
fitted the front grille, bumper and lights again and god does it look sooooo much better!!!

also from when i cut thru the brake lines i found the union in the pressure regulating valve was ceased and i FINALY got it out today, woo mole grips shame they destroyed the union, ill go to southam tomorrow after work i hope, then get on with re-piping it
i was going to grind the welds on the underside just i fell sick and couldnt bring myself to do anything GRR!!!!
what do people think then?? does it look ok? still needs adjusting in places grill isnt sitting right quite yet but its about there

weld the back edge of the driver floor (bit inside exhaust tunnel)
weld the little patch on passenger floor
weld rear valance in place very almost done
grind the welds on the underside of the floor
dress the welds on the underside
paint interior floor
place rest of the interior in
paint underside floor (wax oil at later date)
fit engine steady
bleed brakes
weld battery cable stays
bottom hose was just stupid to do, the clip was ceased so i had to remove the radiator, and then i still coudlnt get it off so i had to saw the clip
took 4 trips to halfords for parts lol, they think im wierd
eerm welding inside the exhaust tunnel was acward aswell, but thats done, i wont be able to grind there i shouldnt think so ill just put seam sealer or fiberglass past over the welds to neaten them up

hard work today, not very good in some, but good in others
i started the day doing the valance, and had done that in a lil over an hour, then i ground down the welds on the O/S sill and seelered it
i went helfrauds for a tow rope, i got one of those heavy duty elasticated ones as i dont trust my mum soo much

anyway when i got back mike (pikey7) was there to help me with the brakes, so we started doing that, and bled them, just there was hardly any pressure build up, i would get pressure right at the bottom of the travel and then its not very much, i would pump the brake and more pressure would build up
this pissed me off, we messed about with this for ages, and its suspected master cylinder seal >

so anyway, after mike went i got on with grinding the driver floor, i then seeled that aswell
tried bleeding the brakes again to no avail
so i moved onto the N/S sill and floor so i ground that down, and seeled that up, also seeled the driver floor in the exhaust tunnel....pain in the arse i say! but not as bad as welding it
so then its getting dark, and i put the interior in, and it looks really nice

anyway things for tomorrow
paint underside floor
fit engine steady
seal the exhaust
fit door cards
smooth valance lip and paint up
fit bumper
re-fit bonnet
make up some rear bin shelf's and fit
all before the MOT thats at 8am tuesday
oh and its insured from the 1st with all mods declared

just gotta hope the log book turns up before friday so i can get tax to drive to newquay
