But we already have two other minis and I would like to go in another direction (mk2 with 10's and an MG supercharged.)
This was my dream for so long but I guess its time to hand it over to someone else to enjoy.

I will look up how long i have owned it for, but its been well over 5years and the thing just doesnt want to go on the road. i have spent a fortune on this car and everytime i do, it ends up being worse for some reason or another.
I am really fed up with it.
I am after a pick up now, got one in mind and its got a 1000cc in it so i might transplant the MG block out of this and into the pick up (if I get it)
the four pots can go up for sale or onto Hannas mini
The metro GTI seats can go up for sale if they dont fit in the pick up (I doubt they will)
then i will just sell the car as a rolliing shell and good riddens to it

I have put the interior back in, new battery, given the KOD Father the wheels back that were on the pick up (Sonic) and its had a good wash (as well as lots of new nuts and bolts here and there, and some brand new door handles from mini spares (£50! and they really are cheap rubbish! I dont blame mini spares, but god these are some nasty toot!)
So here ends the chapter in my life. I have owned this car for many many years (6 or 7?!) and the fact that out of all that time I have only ever had it on the road for one week says it all! I hope the next owner has more luck with it.

It does need a fair bit of work body wise, but when I started the engine with the new battery it started pretty much straight away and didnt smoke or make a fuss.
I think with the nearly new carpets, Metro GTI seats, new door furniture, new battery, freshly painted and restored 13x7 deep dish wheels with almost new tyres on and such a sweet 1275 MG engine the guy who bought this for £700 got a bargin.

And thats it! That chapter of my life is now closed.
