yep, still camping, can't get here soon enough. i didn't camp last year but the run was deffinately my best day since moving to the uk.

i know what you mean about dirty, i just picked mine up from the garage monday and haven't had a chance to wash her. it was there for 3 months.

Mine has been drivien for three months without a wash

Need to get her in for another service..... she is making the most worrying noise when doing over 15mph and the front end seems to have dropped down too (if that is possible) The front is extremely low compared to the back. and the brakes are rubbing against the wheel again

Feels like she will never stop having problems... february it was starter motor, alternator and brake replacements and now this happens *sigh* will there be an end?

sounds like you need to see my man in ruislip. just so he can tell you what is wrong. like i said all that work he did for me and only charged 300 pounds.

I think i do..... This repair work is getting tiring now. Finding shes being repaired more than being driven.

Woo! I was gonna book her in at the garage begining of April before i go back to work.... i use her for commuting and i want her healthy for L2B. Dunno if he would be able to fit me in before the 16th of April.

i'll give him a ring monday and see when he can get you in. he let the last person i took over use his loaner car, so that may be an option too so you have something to drive in the mean time.

ahh okay.........if he can't do it don't worry.

Its got to that stage where I'm repairing her soo much, spending so much money on her that i'm thinking of selling her. Just spent £100 on parts!!

yeah, i've thought that same thing a bunch of times myself. it just seems i'm in to deep to let her go though.

I'm not..... I think my mini is cursed... either that or it just likes to be a pain in the backside. This is a list of what she has had done since i've owned her:

Feb 06
-Gearbox replaced
-Engine mounts
-Clutch
-Clutch cylinders (master and slave)
-Oil change, new spark plugs etc.

(end of feb head gasket blows i get crashed into)

Sep 06
-Full rear end rebuld (after a 6 month insurance battle)
-Head gasket replaced
-Hand brake fixed

Jan 07
-New battery
- New number plates (they were stolen)

Feb 07
-New Alternator
-New starter motor
-New brakes
-engine mounts sorted (again)

Mar 07
-New grill (parts have started to disappear)
-new arches (drivers side is hanging off as snapped)
-New dash (inc clocks)

Apr 07
-God knows

Sometime in the future
-Full front end rebuild

I just want to cry

If i sell her it will be straight after L2b

Shame I (probably) can't do L2B this year, maybe next year...

Starrider do you want to take me to see your uncle too? Couple of lil bits I want doing atm...

Poor Minty hasn't been washed for a few weeks - but he has spent most of those in the garage, coming out on dry Saturdays only, so he's only a little dusty. I hear weather will be nice tmrw so looking forward to taking him for a drive
