I think for best place for the parking on the 15th would be Friars Square car park OR Morrisons as there are not speed bumps as i cant go in the civic as the ramps would smash my number plate up on the front.

£20 an hour! :w00t:

Where is his garage? In fact same question to Stacey lol, where does your dad work? I'm looking for alternative garages because mine's too expensive.

That £100 I assume you're providing the parts for that!! I don't know exactly what parts I need for the kit but I know Minty could do with a bit more oomf!

minili, just sent you a pm. i know a guy who does awesome work at very low labor cost if you tell him i sent you. let me know and i will send you his details. the pic in my avatar is just some of his work. wayne(girounit) saw it up close if you want to ask him how it looks.

My dads quit cheep and does a really nice job. Hes done my car, 2 for my bro, 3 classics for him ad my a new car for the family like every2 yrs or so till him and my mum split. But all the cars we'v had have mostly be write off's and hes been told not 2 bother but has done a really nice job on them all. If u guysgo tothe Aston Clinton Vintage Show u'll see his latest project (NICE) and then mine and my bro's cars will be near. My bros car is the light blue MR1 Escort RS with the dark blue down the sides which u prob all seen driving around when the weather's nice.
Even though hes a macanic he really loves doing car's up. Im seeing him 2moro so if u let me no what u want doing i'll try and get a price for u minili

I'm so jealous you all have people who do cheap work for you!

And would be very grateful if someone can put me in touch with a mini-friendly cheap mechanic! :w00t:

Minty wants, at some point....
- Roof respray in black - preferably satin black
- Couple of tyres for the minilights and another 2 tyres swapping from steelies to alloys (my local garage may do this)
- Stage 1 kit
- Something doing with a water leak I can't seem to solve :w00t:

Not alot of minis out n about today, saw none! Must be the weather I guess... :w00t:

I can't go to the BMC meets because I go to college 6-9pm on Wednesdays :w00t:

I'm not a member of any local clubs, there don't seem to be any big clubs around here (by big I mean popular and active), and no meets very near by!

Hence we are holding our own :w00t:

I'm not going to Brooklands, and probably not L2B, and deffo not Riv Run. :w00t:

Incidentally I saw a black convertible today - well it was kinda like a normal mini-sized pickup, but with a convertible cab... if that makes any sense?

That anyone on here? Looked like a professional job but since it was driving past I didn't get to have a good look at it! And wasn't in mini so didn't even get to wave, doh.
