Its not to hard for me because I've got my Dad and my brother who both LOVE car's and LOVE classic's even more, and their both in the trade. My bro works for my Dad. But my Dad said when I was (I think 4 / 5ish) he would make sure I had a Mini if not Treacle I would have 1 and im 19 now so I guess he done well. The only prob my 14yr old sis wants either a (pink) MK1 Escort RS or a Mini like mine.

OK I've posted this in minifinity too Clicky

Will see if get more interest there as well :ermm:

I can't wait for this meet! If we can decide on an appropriate car park :)

Also if anybody else here is a MF member (or wants to be one) we have pretty regular meets in the HOE (Heart of England) region and it'd be excellent if more people from around here came to them :xxx:

So sod the rivalry, join up to both and let's all be one big happy incestuous mini-loving family...

Due to the need to earn money, and the impending doom that is exams in June, I won't be doing the May runs (well maybe unofficially L2B but we'll see about that) so I can't help on that :w00t:

And I agree about the Civic :w00t: If the weather's dry I shall test it this weekend lol.

Also, the list is now slightly extended for the 15th:
1. Minili (TMF & MF)
2. MayfairJimmy (TMF)
3. Captain Matt (TMF & MF)
4. Starrider (TMF)
5. Roo (TMF)
6. GiroUnit (TMF)
7. StaceyJM (TMF)
8. Jim295 (TMF)
9. JamesMoore (MF)

As I suspected it's too far for many of the MF members. One or 2 more may come, though I haven't had a chance to ask them yet.

And Jim295 I hoped to book 2 lanes as there will be too many for 1, just want to wait til got more final numbers. They best not make me pay in advance :w00t:

Are you doing your stage 1 yourself or getting someone else to do it? If yourself, do you want to do mine? :w00t: And if you're getting someone else, who and for how much? Lol I have WAY too little knowledge to do it myself and aint takin it to Wendover Motor Spares because they're too expensive :w00t:

well i was goin to do it myself but my uncle who is a mechanic is now doing it for me.. i was trying to do it just in his garage with his tools etc.. but i wanted him there and he is mega busy atm.. cud only fit me in on thursday and so i'm at work and just have to let him do it.. also he is mechanic for local garages racing metros so thats his weekends gone for a while now as well :w00t: he said it should be around £100 quid but he is budgeting for a lot of time to be spent with annoying rusted bolts etc.. he generally charges 20 pounds an hour.. and he know loads about the racing metros so im always annoying him with random mini questions...

they shouldn;t make you pay in advance the just get rly arsey if ony 2 or 3 turn up when u booked for 9.. happened to me b4 and i just didnt go.. they wernt happy :w00t:

*quick edit** off out now.. will be on later tonight so leave ne messages and ill get back to people

£20 an hour! :w00t:

Where is his garage? In fact same question to Stacey lol, where does your dad work? I'm looking for alternative garages because mine's too expensive.

That £100 I assume you're providing the parts for that!! I don't know exactly what parts I need for the kit but I know Minty could do with a bit more oomf!
