Pah or not... Its nearly there, just a small bit of rewiring to do, bleed brakes/clutch, adjust clutch arm, plumb fuel/cooling line in, tighten up hub nuts, fit batteray and Vrooooom ('opefully) time and weather was against me today, so moved the Van into the garage....

LOLbungle, this is by far one of your best comments.
But lowering makes it less easy to tip over

But I've got a major problem with my brakes

Fed up now!!!!
Right whats going on?
New built up back plates, so the rear brakes are completely new, new hoses going to the back cylinders (although, one is a braided jobbie and the other is a rubber type, but both new)
7.5" Calipers up front (stamped MSC London) new pads, fairly new disks, brand spanking new GT/S master cylinder...
Also, I have a new front brake pipe (the long one that goes in the front of the subframe) new braided front brake pipes, none of the joints are leaking...
So here my problem, reason I have gone for a new cylinder, is my old one was showing signs of leaking, and took to pumps to stop the car, so new master cylinder...
Bleeding the brakes tonight, eazibleed first, got rid of most of the air, pedal isn't too bad, but still goes to the floor, but as soon as I did the drivers side front, its went to pot again, so did the old man method, to which, 5-7pumps and still ONLY just goes hard, and about 1cm from the floor....
I can't see any leaky bits, or hear any... this is the second new master i've got, different distributer and different batch, so no chance of it being part of a dodgy batch...
Done the proper secuance, NR - OR - NF - OF....
Help!!!!!!!
With no brakes, its no show

First of, find a bolt that will screw into the top of the master cylinder, your pedal should go hard very quickly. If not your M/C is FUBAR.
If that test went ok, find a bolt that will screw into the rear line outlet of the FAM valve (if you have one fitted), again, check for hard pedal.....
Go on like this, blocking off lines until you narrow down the problem.
Have you got a decent handbrake? If you have, pull the handbrake on so that it locks the rear wheels, pump up the brake pedal so it goes hard. Release handbrake, if the pedal goes down you still have air in the rear lines.

I have brakes!!!!!!
affending item -

One pressure valve - I've now replaced it for a nice snazzy race adjustable one (second hand)
But now, my brakes are harder than I could of possably imagined them to be!!!!!
Also, manged to half fit my new battary cable, and fitted my exhaust....
Tomorrow night, time to see if his new heart ticks
