Small update.

Its not running yet, but its certainly trying. Just waiting for a few people to arrive to give me a paw to get it going.
I have fuel, spark, just the timing I think is out... more than likely 180* out, but want to wait for people to arrive to check

But managed to flatten two battaries over the past 24hrs, so gone out a bought myself a new battary to handle my ICE, lights etc etc.... its 750ah  New altenater is on its way too - I am so gald i don't have a battary box :(

Anyways, this is it compared to a standard 45ah battary...

The best bit, they only charged me 86 PENCE for it  :P (brand new not a second hand one, just a typo in the card machine)

Well I have space for a 17"x10""x7" battary... so went to the shop, and asked for a high amp batt, to fit in this hole.
Low and be hold, I left with a 15x7x7, to which I find is actually a 12v truck battary :D

Anyways, fitted the battray no problem, but found my earth strap was having a hard time, so I now have 4 earth straps =]

you might find you have the same problem as me if you flatted that size battery and that's the alternator cant charge it

that's one reason i went for 2 battery's

i was finding driving home with the leisure battery's 1/2 flat i was working the alternator too hard i now disconnect 1 for the drive home and charge that 1 at home

bigger is not always best

No, I haven't managed to flatten this battery yet.

I managed to flatten the normal 45ah Mini battary, and a 65ah battary.
I am going to get a higher amp altenater soon anyways, just need to find one that works.

Ahhh yeh, thats old news :dozing:

It runs, but not for long, I think my timing is out. After talking to a few people at the show, sounds like my timing is 180 out :P

Going to, had another chat with a nice chap on MSN just now, Maybe the van will be going for "next weekend".

Ahh well, if my Flywheel turned up when it was going to, I'd have already got the teething problems sorted :dozing:

Never mind, you'll just have to see it when the wheels etc go on :P
