Undecided as yet, I imagine the amount of oil thrown up by the CWP will be insignificant compared to the gears, I may make one up yet though.....

More parts ordered....front and rear anti roll bars (the front one being sent to a certain subframe manufacturer so that bespoke mounts can be incorporated) are on the way.

All engine work in terms of measuring and machining is now complete, the final assembly is about to begin in earnest, should have the engine fully built by the close of the weekend I imagine.

Shell booked in to be sprayed the first week of july so I have a deadline on the shell work, which is going slower than I would like due to the crappy weather (I wish I had a garage!)

I am getting pretty excited I must say ^_^

The special subby is something I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on, if it lives up to its reputation it should be a formidable track tool once its back together.

I have a lot of work to do to the shell, have some big plans for it as well as replacing the A panels and sills which have started to rot!

There will be plenty of pictures coming, i've just bought a new camera too!

Cheers,
Dan

This subby wouldn't happen to be the same as your brothers would it - because that is one fancy piece of metal he's got ^_^

Its as near as makes no difference to normal mini suspension, a top arm, a bottom wishbone and a track control arm (effectively your tie rod) with inboard dampers on a push rod.

havent decided yet dave to be honest.....i've always liked white with a black roof in a retro stylee, but i think it'll be something different.

I was tempted to do it racing green the same as my brothers for comedy value but at the moment a charcoal grey type colour is at the top of the list.

No, I thought about the carbon roof but decided against it in the end.

Sounds like you are thinking of the z cars subby yes.
