Very nearly, its an idea i've had in my head for a very long time, which I put into action when I realised just how much weight there is in the rear end!

I'm sure I mention that to you a while ago! :thumbsup: I looked into it, a rear subframe is 14kg, I believe you could get that down to about 8kg by making up a CDS rear subframe that goes to all four corners, not sure if you can get rid of weight if you had a rear beam previously? Of course you could always then try and make your own CDS radius arms too! :P

2 corners is more than enough.....thats all the beam picks up and still has the rear trailing arms on it.

ps. I have a spare beam and raduis arms complete with brakes going spare if anyones interested :P

Thought you'd go with two corners. Although, I'm unsure how you'd use a CDS frame on two corners in a way that improves on the beam. Unless your taking influences from Z Cars, or doing away with the radius arms altogether...
