That should shave some pounds off whilst remaining stiff too! I saw one of those front frames on ebay (in purple or some similar colour) about 3 or 4 months ago....they are not cheap! I think it was about 1k.
I am looking forwards to seeing what is happening on the rear wheels.
Nice to see you covering up that lovely engine the way it should be (not like me), along with your inner CV joints.
I'm still waiting on the new pulleys and jackshaft for mine before I can start the build proper and drop the box onto it. Should have them by next Tuesday.....
Kind regards,
David

The rear end will be interesting, I'm now considering starting from scratch with my roll cage rather than butchering the existing one in there, which means I may have a 6 point safety devices cage going spare soon....
The cost of the front subframe was under 1k as I retained my existing coil overs which just happened to be the right size!
I'll get some better pics sorted soon.

Looks a serious piece of kit, full group A cage, which I will be adding to once its in to build my rear suspension.
Pics to follow tomorrow!

As the KAD engine doesn't run a standard timing gear backplate, the mounting brackets that are on the market for crank sensors won't fit meaning I had to mount it myself somehow......as I don't run a standard subframe anymore, the mounts are different, meaning I could get away with drilling and tapping the side of the box and mounting the sensor here....
