There might be something on the Megasport website?

did you not put a reservoir in the vacuum line? autosport recommed it for a propper reading.

Didn't at first and it was a bit of a 'pulsey' reading, so I added one in. Anything with a bit of volume will do the job.
As for cars to look for.
MKIII Fiesta, 1.1, 1.3 OHV (loads in the scrappy and the people in the yards don't think they're anything special). The module is mounted on the bulkhead, the coil on the back of the block, the VR sensor on the front. Avoid the ones with ESC written on the module, although the looms off those are handy for a base (a lump of wires) to hack into to mod for the mini loom. Just don't try and use the ESC loom multiplug as it won't fit the EDIS 4 module.
Escort 1.1, 1.3 OHV, early Zetecs (1.4, 1.6, 1.8 IIRC).
Focus, Mondeo, 1.6, 1.8 Zetec and 2.0 Duratec doodah engine too.
Basically, anything with a coil module and an EDIS 4 module. I believe the autosport labs site has a list of vehicles that are suitable donors, but I'd deffo be looking out for '92-'95 Festers as they're a nice easy hack (actually, the coil's a bugger to get to on them).
The later Zetecs (like my GF's 99 Focus) have the coilpack mounted on the N/S end of the head, with a nice bracket that's held on with three bolts (T30 or T25 head I think).
Hope that helps a little

And, it's worth bearing in mind that the NEW prices for components are roughly as follows:
VR sensor (Magnetti Marelli SEN8D to suit SC and KAD mount/trigger kit): £15ish
Coilpack (new non-Ford) £15-35 depending on motor factors and how well you know the geezer behind the counter!
In some cases, it's worth using second hand to get setup, then replacing with new parts as and when you can afford to!

Cheers matt ill get scrapyard hunting, the people at out local scrappy are this as sh*t so they probably belive me if i say its just a few relays and i could get the lot new for £20 lol.
If there any cars the HT leads can be used off? or do you defonately have to have them custom made?

Just use the ones off the car that you get the kit off. The Zetec ones are mahoosive as they are about 100mm longer than you need on a mini (go inbetween the cams so need to be long).
Go for OHV Fiesta ones, I used the kit initially, then decided to get some 8mm ones from Halfords that were designed for the Fiesta. It depends on where you mount your coilpack, but the Fiesta ones are a little long for some installs.

hope this helps, but only one weber obviously, gives you a constant less bumpy reading, hard to get a smooth reading without the res because the valves are opening and closing so the vacuum is far from constant.
if you wondering what the vacuums for its to tell the megajolt unit what load the engine is under so it can advance / retard the ignition

i shouldnt effect an SU, because there is only one input (the SU) which then siameses into 2 much like the ports. But its not hard to put a resevoir in the line afterwards, megajolt will very quickly show you on the screen if its not giving a constant reading, as itll show it jumping up and down.
as matt describes as 'pulsey'.

Taking Bud666's idea from another forum, would a plastic fuel filter with the innards removed serve as a good chamber to equalise pressure between runners?
For those tapping into steel weber manifolds, do you weld in your take-off? or drill/tap and screw in some take offs?

Yea, the empty fuel filter should be fine.
Just to point out, that KADs trigger wheel kit includes the sensor too. Both KADs kit and SC trigger wheel kit have clearance problems with the fan belt though!
