I've not had much time to work on the car this week due to another Mini arriving at rat central, unfortunately this particluar car was beyond repair due to an accident but it does mean that I now have a new engine fo rthe brown bomb....
A complete SPi setup is now going to be used including the injection, I have striped the doner car down and have started the work on the brown bomb to convert over to the Spi setup

I got my boot welded finaly (not up to the standard yours is) and gave it and the underneath a coat of looking at (anti rust paint). I'm hopeing the zinc phosphate will hold back the inevertable?????

Getting there Ratty wish I could have had the space to do mine all in one go but never mind at least it’s moving forward just sprayed boot and rear floor yesterday. Most of my interior is missing how are you fixed on that department will it be standard or you going for your own style?

I have a Mini Rio interior to go in for the time being at least, Spi engine, 7.5" brakes and 10x6 Revolutions
Not outstanding I know but it should make for a nice daily driver

Just getting the sub frame bits together so I can get it rebuilt and back on don’t want to rush the job. Problem is were getting a new bedroom sweet delivered Tuesday so I’ve got the old one to get out before then and start fitting the new one. Well time for tea and top gear now good luck with yours mate

WOW! your missus is certainly one very very lucky lady
You've done an absolutely amazing job i bet you're so proud..and to do most of it without a garage and do it all yourself..you definitely are an inspiration to every mini owner out there
can't wait to see when it's finished

Its been a difficult month so not much progress has been made except the doors are ready for new skins and the boot lid is ready for painting but I've no pics I'm afraid
So to keep all the picture whores at bay heres the new wheels
