Been a little busy with weddings, stag do's, building a house etc so not had much time to work on the car but heres a little update

Great work!! Keep it going like that and it will be finished by next week! :) so you bought that black mini for the engine? nice........wish i could just by a whole mini for one part... I say again..great work...keep it up!

Wow haven't looked here for a while....what a silly mistake, sooo much done in so little time, you're at about the same stage as me now, will be starting the spraying sometime soonish =] Gonna look awesome when it's done no doubt, keep up the good work =]

Excellent project, the pace your getting this done in is amazing and should give many of us the motivation/inspiration to get out there and get our projects done

one thing though im surprised with the amount of whole panels replaced you chose NOT to use a spot welder? :confused: would have saved you a lot of time, effort and welding materials and if you did the same amount of work on the other mini with it, it would pretty much pay for itself?

A lack of available 32amp power supply prevented the use of a spot welder as most spot welders require 16amp or above and they cost £300 whereas the mig I already had. One day I will get a spot welder as it is easier to do this type of job, I did consider hiring one but the generator to run it was too expensive

i get bored, grind paint, have tea, grind a bit, have tea and before you know it its too late

love the surf blue, will look gorgeous
