Rumbled !!!!!!!!! I was trying to keep quiet about my MK1's ( and act as if I have just Fred, my Flame) as they have caused me a few problems on another forum - damn !!!! Yes, that's me..........and the good news is that with work, I am being transferred back to our local office so I will be able to use them all on a regular basis now - yippee !!!!!

If you are going to Southen Mini Days, you need to be aware that they no longer sell Spitfire on site.............I was at the Hop Farm in June for the GEMS bike Rally and they now only sell John Smiths in the beer place. You can still get a decent pint in the pub next door though.

Thank you - that's so nice of you. I have had one of the hydrolastic displacers replaced on that one this week as the outer cover on it was pretty rotten and I'd had an MOT advisory on it last year. Remember I told you about the head ? Well yesterday I had no water loss, so I was really thrilled as I was going up and down the motorway. I had to drive to Guildford, pack up my desk and bring my computer and everything back here to Basingstoke - yes I am now working locally again. That means I can use my 850's for work - yippee !!!!

I am off to Southern Mini Days today. I am taking Fred (my Flame) as I put him in the show and shine. He needs a good old cleanup first- he's rather grubby from all this travelling to Guildford- Him and my Cooper were sharing the workload with that. By the way there's a little picture of him in the latest Mini Magazine.......he is with one of his famous little friends !!!!!!
