You can do this online at either:
www.cats.org.uk or www.cancerresearchuk.org
and then to prove you have donated post up a screen grab of the thankyou for donating page for us all to see.
And should the item you allegedly posted to me actually turn up i will return it to you asap. This means that you have the item in question to sell on, one of the above charities gets some cash and i will be the only one out of pocket (which is no problem because as long as you don't have the money i don't see it as me being scammed)
So the balls in your court Matt, what you gonna do?

it doesnt matter what happens with the money, the problem is who the money actually belongs to.
assuming the parcel never turns up then Matt has lost £15 AND whatever it was he sent. If the parcel was insured (which is should be because all mine have been ive sent recently included in the fee) then Matt needs to chase the P/O and refund from there.

sorry im not tryin to be a bore or whatever but that dont seem right. i agree about the charity thing, very nice an all that but if Matt wont part with £15 to you then why would he pay the same £15 to someone else?

What he said, assuming there is proof of posting (which you always get) then its insured for enough to cover 15squid.
Having said that, I post lots of stuff out at work and the postal strikes down here have meant that probably 50% of what I have sent out in the last three weeks hasn't reached the destination.......

I'm in the same boat though. Paid my money, not recieved item. So at the moment Matts up on the deal. The money going to charity means alls equal on both sides of the deal. And like i said in the first post if it turns up i will send it back to him, which leaves me out of pocket.
Edit: beaten to it by wilcooper

someone brought something from matt, during the postal strikes, matt sent something off. in this case a quickshift. guy moaned so matt gave him his money back.......however the quick shift turned up and the guy admited it, yet he dident send it back too matt, nor did he give any money back to matt, and as the parcel arived matt could not claim off the postal services......
i think your going to have it take it up with the postal services, nobody apart from them is to blame in this situation imho.

why dont you put a claim in with the delivery service for the money if it was lost in the post???
I have no details on the posting side of things. Surely this is something that Matt needs to do?

not really, you never had the parcel so dont miss something you never had.
you are £15 short.
Matt is a parcel worth £15 short.
so really youre both even - this is as equal as it gets! if it does turn up then youre both still even..... if you want to send it back of your own accord then thats your choice!
personally if it was me in this situation id either leave it and put it down to experience OR if you still insist on fairs fair an all that then ask Matt to refund £7.50
