I'd say go for the cage meself. I wouldn't really worry about resale value as I think it will complement an already decent car that's suited to trackdays and weekend use (as well as probably being a perfectly capable daily drive).

Right just rang my insurance compamy and they said the cage would be a extra................. £0 , so need to get an price from saimon@minispares for their safety devices bolt in with the extra harness bar

oh and a quick update on the car its having some nice new sills put on today

Technically you COULD get rid of the charcoal canister, your engine won't blow up without it, but I believe most of the TMF Docs reccomend you keep it in place.
