My dads got a load of tattoo's but he hates all of them

Got one inside of his lip, said something but it just a load of dots now.

That's the only one I have so I can't compare it to the handheld machine ones, but I found it quite gentle. It was like plucking your skin with the needle as opposed to sticking it in, and and no point did it make me jump or anything. I got it done in an amazing studio in Brighton and the guy had a seperate room (it wasn't dodgy!) that was all covered in Buddhist themed art and stuff so it was really chilled out. I've had a needle phobia since before I can remember so it was a big thing for me to do, but I loved it and wanted another one the second I walked out! Also, the good thing about a hand done tattoo is it doesn't scab over or require as much aftercare as a normal machine one.
