I dont have a clue about tattoos, but if it was white, would you actually see it?

depends what white, but even then can be tricky i think

could always get the outline of it then maybe some shading in instead of white but depends what jacks tattooist says

I was thinking full white with slight grey shading around the outside to break it up a little?

Just not sure if the white will stand out enough..

Yes Rob very nice work and well placed also. You can enjoy showing it and still pop a top shirt on. The white does fade away. I think it would best for people with darker skin tones. I think someone could also really do well With Female Nail Art.

jack i dont think the tattooist will do the dove all white he will most likely use light greys and build up a darker tone for the shadows and just use white for highlights, i have white ink on my koi but regret it now as the white doesn't suit my skin colour and turns a light yellow colour so im getting it changed to black and red like the rest of the koi

Cheers nick. Talked to the guy about it and said it's best to leave most of it skin tone then shade small areas in White with the black to break it up.

Going to the shop opening on the 26th so I'll book it then and sort out final details.

My white tattoos are still going strong, the 6ish year old one on my back is still very visable and it still looks white even with my albino skin tone
I found though it depends on the artist themselves whether they decide to do white tattoos, one wasn't keen to do my Vern tat until he'd seen the older one on my back They'll know what's best!

Had a good look at your dove design i like it.When he has done the outline and heavy feather detail i would have each feather fine detailed and centre vain on each one and brushed to show the feather.
If you have pale skin keep it like that the white just a bit of ink. In the summer if you get a bit of a tan use top block on the dove. I would not have a background just the bird.
